Berikut ini adalah tips menggunakan tombol kombinasi atau biasa juga disebut dengan Hotkey, pada browser mozilla firefox yang mungkin jarang diketahui oleh banyak orang pengguna browser "musang" dan sering saya gunakan ketika berselancar :

Ctrl + N - Ini digunakan untuk Window Browser Baru Terbuka.

Ctrl + T - Ini digunakan untuk Buka Tab Baru di jendela yang ada.

Ctrl + W atau Ctrl + F4 - Ini digunakan untuk Tutup jendela aktif atau Tab.

Let's begin Tips Ala OP ini masbro:

1. Nyalakan PC

2. Kemudian masukan CD windows XP masbro

3. Buka control panel dan pilih regional setting

4. Ikuti seperti pada gambar

5. PC akan mengcopy file-file yang dibutuhkan dari CD. (klo diminta untuk mencari file, cari di direktori tempat CD dimasukkan di folder "1386" atau "LANG", ini terjadi klo CD yang dipake versinya beda dengan yang terinstall di PC)

6. Selesai proses copy file, maka PC akan minta untuk direstart

7. Setelah restart, buka control panel, trus ke regional setting. Ikuti seperti gambar di bawah ini

8. Di sini kita bisa memilih bahasa asing yang kita inginkan, berhubung tips ala op ini untuk bahasa jepang maka pilih Japanese. Hanya untuk bahasa kawasan asia tenggara (Korea dan China juga bisa lho), bila ingin lebih banyak lagi pada step 2 centang juga option yang diatasnya.

Tips & Trik Menghilangkan Tanda Bajakan Pada Smadav 2011

• Matikan Smadav
  Pastikan Smadav tidak sedang dijalankan (cek tray icon, jika masih ada logo smadav - klik kanan - EXIT)
• Hapus file "PIRΔSYS.DLL" yang ada di "C:\Windows\System32\PIRΔSYS.DLL" (jika sudah tidak ada, lanjut ke step berikutnya)
• Jalankan "REGEDIT" (caranya : Start - RUN - ketik: regedit) (atau tekan tombol logo WINDOWS + R, ketik: regedit)
• Lalu Menuju ke "HKEY_CURRENT_USER - Software - Microsoft - Notepad"
• Hapus "lfPitchΔndFamily", "lfPitchΔndFamily2", dan "lfPitchΔndFamily3" (intinya, yang ada lfPitchΔndFamily-nya wajib hapus)
• Close REGEDIT

Jikalau menggunakan trik diatas masih muncul info bajakannya, lanjutkan dengan menggunakan trik dibawah ini :

• Cek dulu Host Filenya, Dengan cara : ke C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc - Buka file 'hosts' dengan Notepad

Tips Mempercepat Proses Start dan Shutdown Computer

Bagi masbro pengguna OS (Operating System) Windows, berikut ada sedikit tutorial lama yang mungkin belum diketahui oleh sebagian orang. Sesuai judulnya, saya akan menerangkan cara-cara mempercepat proses start dan shutdown computer dengan memanfaatkan fitur hibernate pada windows.

Namun sebelumnya kita harus tau dulu apa itu hibernate pada windows.

About Hibernate

Sebuah fitur yang dibuat oleh microsoft dikarenakan tuntutan mobilitas dari pengguna notebook yang ingin start windows begitu komputer laptopnya dibuka.

hibernate -> tidur panjang di musim dingin


pada komputer, hibernate dilakukan dengan bertahap :
1. Paging memory ke hard drive yang telah dialokasikan spacenya (makannya semakin besar memory semakin lama karena semakin besar data yang harus ditulis ke harddisk)


2. save last position (screen, mouse, settings, dll) dan jadikan semacam 'boot image' untuk start up, file yang dibentuk tersebut bernama Hiberfil.sys


Hibernate secara gampangnya bisa diartikan memindahkan memory ke harddisk. Ini dilakukan agar komputer tidak perlu meload dari awal lagi, tinggal baca yang sudah di tulis tadi.

Nah sudah pada mengerti kan apa itu hibernate. Dan untuk mengatur agar PC/Laptop masbro bisa menggunakan fitur ini coba masbro masuk ke Control Panel dan pilih Power Option lalu pilih Tab Hibernate. Ceklis pada opsi Enable Hibernate. (Lihat gambar di bawah)

Setelah settingan tersebut sudah dilakukan, sekarang masbro sudah bisa melakukan hibernate pada komputer masbro. Untuk Mencobanya silahkan masbro Klik Start >> Turn Off Computer atau klik tombol Power pada Keyboard. Akan tampil dialog shutdown seperti gambar di bawah ini :

Namun pilihan hibernate-nya tidak muncul, lalu dimana pilihan tombol hibernate-nya?

Pilihan Hibernate akan muncul menggantikan tombol Stand By bila masbro menekan tombol SHIFT pada keyboard. So, masbro klik saja SHIFT pada keyboard masbro dan klik tombol Hibernate.

Hibernate berguna bila masbro sering mematikan dan menghidupkan PC/Laptop pada rentang waktu yang sebentar, mungkin dikarenakan ada suatu hal lain dan masbro terpaksa meninggalkan komputer sesaat. Daripada Shutdown yang membutuhkan waktu lama ketika masbro start komputer, ada baiknya masbro pilih hibernate saja yang bisa mengembalikan ke posisi sama persis ketika masbro meninggalkan komputer tersebut.

Namun hibernate-pun bisa menimbulkan masalah error pada windows masbro, contohnya : bila masbro mengganti RAM pada saat komputer masbro berada pada posisi hibernate. Error yang muncul biasanya berbentuk BSOD dengan keterangan seperti ini

Bila hal ini terjadi, silahkan masbro restart komputer masbro. Namun bila dengan me-restart komputer masih tetap saja melihat error tersebut itu maka masbro harus masuk ke Recovery Console menggunakan CD Installer Windows dan hapus file Hiberfil.sys, Caranya :

1. Masukan CD Installer Windows ke Drive CD, lalu restart dan booting computer masbro dari CD.
2. Bila sudah muncul "Welcome to Setup", tekan R untuk memulai Recovery Console.
3. Masukan password Administrator bila diperlukan dan tekan ENTER.
4. Secara default Hiberfil.sys berada di root directory (C:\). Pada command prompt, ketik del hiberfil.sys, lalu tekan ENTER.
5. Restart Komputer, dan semoga sekarang komputer masbro kembali normal.

Nah semoga bermanfaat ya trik ini, terutama untuk yang belum mengetahuinya.

Trik Mempercepat Proses Install Ulang Windows

Bagi masbro yang sering melakukan instalasi OS Windows mungkin sering merasa tidak sabar, dikarenakan prosesnya yang bisa memakan waktu kurang lebih 1 jam dari mulai formating hingga penyalinan file dan instalasinya.

Namun sebenarnya instalasi ini bisa kita persingkat menjadi kurang lebih 10 menit saja. Tapi saya tidak merekomendasikan bagi masbro yang mempunyai PC yang sudah tua alias jadul Tapi bila masbro bersikeras silahkan masbro coba Trik ala OP berikut.

Berikut Triknya :

• Proses awal lakukan seperti biasanya, masbro boot dari CD Drive masbro dan lakukan formating seperti biasanya. Setelah proses format dan penyalinan pada mode DOS selesai maka PC akan restart dan akan melanjutkan proses instalasi dengan mode GUI (Graphical User Interface) atau user friendly. lihat gambar di bawah ini :

• Nah pada saat tampilan seperti gambar diatas muncul, masbro tekan SHIFT+F10, dimana fungsi tersebut akan memanggil Command Prompt.

• Pada command prompt tersebut masbro ketik taskmgr dan tekan ENTER untuk memanggil Task Manager.

• Setelah Task Manager muncul, masbro klik pada tab bagian Processes dan cari Setup.exe dari list process tersebut.

• Lalu klik kanan pada process Setup.exe tersebut, dan set Priority menjadi High.

• Setelah itu masbro tutup saja Task Manager beserta Command Prompt nya dan lihat hasilnya.

Proses instalasi Windows masbro akan bertambah cepat ( tergantung kecepatan processor masbro juga ). Semoga trik ini bermanfaat bagi masbro sekalian "yang hobby" install ulang windows

Trik Membangkitkan GPEDIT.MSC di Windows XP Home

Gpedit.msc sebenernya kata yang udah ga asing lagi dimata. Pasti sering donk utak-atik di Group Policy. Tapi bagaimana dengan temen-temen yang make Windows XP Home Edition, ya kasus nya seperti saya ini. Misalnya saja ada tutorial menarik yang menggunakan gpedit.msc, nah waktu di run and ketik “gpedit.msc” (tanpa tanda kutip), ternyata yang ada malah pesan error. 10x mencoba, 10x pula error nya.

Setelah searching sana-sini akhir nya ketemu bagaimana caranya membangkitkan kembali gpedit.msc dari alam kubur. halah…

Setiap foto digital berisi banyak informasi tersembunyi, software JPEGsnoop ini mampu mengungkapkan rincian ini kepada mereka yang ingin tahu. Fungsi Tombol Refresh Desktop

Kebanyakan para pengguna komputer terutama komputer dengan Operating System keluaran Microsoft (Windows) pernah atau bahkan sering menekan tombol Klik Kanan Refresh pada desktop atau menggunakan tombol shortcut-nya pada keyboard yaitu tombol fungsi F5. Yang mengkhawatirkan dari mereka, mungkin karena mereka tidak tahu alasan sebenarnya mengapa mereka menekan tombol ini. Parahnya lagi, mereka yang memiliki alasan kuat mengapa mereka menekan tombol ini justru meyakini mitos yang salah tentang fungsi tombol refresh tersebut.

Perlu diketahui, refresh pada desktop berbeda dengan refresh page atau reload page pada browser. Kadangkala karena lalu lintas internet yang padat, ada halaman internet yang tidak dapat dimuat secara sempurna. Fungsi refresh pada browser ini adalah untuk memuat kembali halaman yang gagal dimuat sebelumnya. Sedangkan, refresh pada desktop memiliki fungsi yang berbeda dengan tombol refresh yang terdapat di dalam browser.

Kebanyakan pengguna komputer baru atau awam, seperti halnya saya sendiri, pada awalnya meyakini bahwa tombol refresh berfungsi untuk meng-update atau memperbaharui kondisi siaga (idle) komputer setelah terjadi perubahan dan menghapus perintah sebelumnya dari RAM, sehingga komputer yang kita gunakan akan berjalan dengan lebih lancar dan lebih cepat. Namun, seperti yang telah diungkapkan sebelumnya, ternyata merupakan mitos semata.

Fungsi Tombol Refresh Desktop yang Sebenarnya

 

Refresh desktop sebenarnya digunakan untuk memperbaharui tampilan atau memuat kembali tampilan yang ada di desktop setelah terjadi suatu perubahan. Refresh desktop tidak berfungsi untuk memperbaharui kembali kondisi RAM, dan tidak membersihkan komputer anda atau menyegarkan komputer anda. Oleh karena itu refresh desktop juga tidak menyumbangkan peningkatan performa apa pun pada kinerja komputer.

Untuk lebih memudahkan anda dalam memahami penjelasan fungsi tombol refresh desktop ini, maka perhatikan ilustrasi berikut. Kadangkala bila anda melakukan perubahan pada shortcut di desktop, perubahan tersebut tidak ditampilkan secara instan. Pada kasus ini, barulah anda perlu untuk melakukan refresh pada desktop anda untuk menampilkan perubahan yang telah dilakukan di desktop.

Contohnya, anda telah mengatur shortcut di desktop agar namanya sesuai dengan urutan abjad. Saat anda menambahkan shortcut baru pada desktop, shortcut baru tersebut tidak akan langsung tersortir sesuai urutan abjad, tetapi akan berada di bagian paling bawah daftar shortcut. Jika anda menekan tombol refresh desktop, semua shortcut akan diatur ulang kembali dan shortcut yang baru tersebut akan menempati posisinya sesuai abjadnya. Ini adalah fungsi tombol refresh desktop yang sebenarnya. Selain itu, refresh juga punya fungsi yang sama pada Windows Explorer.

Jadi, bila anda punya kebiasaan melakukan refresh pada desktop anda berkali-kali tanpa mengetahui maksud dan fungsi sebenarnya tombol ini, maka anda sebaiknya menghentikan kebiasaan tersebut. Karena anda hanya membuang waktu dan perhatian anda untuk melakukan pekerjaan yang sebenarnya sia-sia.

Tips Maksimum Temperatur CPU

Penggunaan cooling processor adalah suatu keharusan, dengan cooling processor kita bisa mendapati informasi detail seberapa besar pengaruh cooler tersebut dalam menahan panas processor. Meski kita menggunakan hsf / cooler pun dalam jangka waktu yang lama penggunaan processor dalam keadaan full load tetap akan membuat suhu meningkat apalagi jika kita menggunakan hsf standar.

Suhu yang terlampau panas akan membuat sistem kita berjalan tidak stabil, rentan crash dan tentu saja akan memperpendek umur komponen itu sendiri. Hal ini bisa terjadi lantaran komponen pendingin kita juga tidak bekerja dengan baik, misal penggunaan pasta yang salah atau fan / kipas hsf sudah tidak berputar secara optimal.

Saat ini motherboard sendiri biasanya dilengkapi dengan sensor suhu yang sewaktu waktu bisa kita pantau secara real time. Meskipun ini bukan satu satu nya cara yang bisa dilakukan, namun cara ini bisa menjadi dasar patokan kita bahwa hsf dan fan kita bekerja dengan baik. Sebenarnya suhu di dalam casing komputer tidak hanya tergantung pada suhu processor (CPU) saja, tetapi komponen lain seperti VGA, chipset motherboard juga ikut menentukan. Termasuk juga fan atau kipas akan sangat membantu dalam mengurangi suhu yang berlebih. CPU sendiri mempunyai suhu maksimum masing masing yang biasa kita sebut critical temperatures, yang biasanya jadi patokan setiap cpu manufaktur untuk dijadikan acuan seberapa jauh suhu cpu bisa dipakai secara normal.

Daftar dibawah ini bukan merupakan nilai mutlak, karena kadang ada beberapa suhu maksimum yang berbeda. Tetapi paling tidak daftar ini mampu memberikan gambaran kepada kita perkiraan suhu maksimum CPU, sehingga kita bisa menjaga agar suhu processor tetap normal (rata-rata dibawah 50°C)

Biasanya untuk menjaga kerusakan CPU, di pengaturan BIOS ada opsi untuk mengatur berapa batas suhu maksimal processor. Jika pengaturan ini diaktifkan, maka ketika suhu processor mencapai nilai tertentu, kadang komputer akan otomatis mati, untuk mencegah kerusakan processor.
